Air Bags

Airbags, also called dunnage bags, are an affordable and highly effective means of securing loads for shipment by truck, railcar, or sea container. Once inflated and installed they reduce the risk of product damage by restricting load movement.

Depending on the application², good quality air bags can be used more than once. Before reusing always verify that an airbag is free of wear or tears.

Selecting the proper airbag depends on several factors including the weight of the product, the void size and the transportation mode. Call us to discuss your application and what type and size of airbag is right for you.

1. Extensible Kraft - Very strong virgin Kraft papers which stretches (approximately 6%) more in MD (machine direction) versus the CD (cross direction) and tears less easily than regular Kraft paper.

2. The AAR (Association of American Railroad) prohibits the reuse of airbags for shipments by rail.
